Join NAWBO and Dr Kyla Smith Cologgi as she shares her journey from Optometric Vision Care to Wellness. Hear from Dr. Cologgi on her shift from optometry practice to an entrepreneurial career in Physical, Mental and Emotional Wellness. ABOUT OUR SPEAKER- KYLA SMITH COLOGGI, OD, RYT-200
Kyla is an optometrist and yoga teacher from Westerville, Ohio with a special interest in a holistic approach to well-being. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University after completing undergraduate studies at Bucknell University and Penn State University. Her optometric focus areas are vision therapy and children’s vision.
Realizing her health care journey was bigger than optometry, she earned her yoga teacher certificate in 2016. In January of 2022, she will change her career focus to devote her energies entirely to yoga and wellness practices. With goals of healthy body, mind and spirit, she aspires to share her lifelong knowledge with others to help them live healthier lives.
