For companies seeking a capable set of extra hands to help with their technology needs this fall, an internship could be the way to go.

There’s even an enticing financial incentive for businesses that choose to hire an intern through the State of Ohio.

Companies still have the opportunity to apply for the Ohio Department of Development’s Diversity and Inclusion Technology Internship Program, with the application deadline extended through Sept. 15. Companies that participate in the program will have two-thirds of each intern’s wages reimbursed up to $7,500 as part of the Ohio Third Frontier program. Each company can hire up to four interns per round and be reimbursed up to $30,000.
