March 6 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Thu, March 06, 2025 |  11:00 AM – 1:00 PM |  Amelita Mirolo Barn

Join NAWBO Columbus at our March Monthly Meeting and ditch the awkward intros and transactional conversations—this event is all about forging real, lasting connections in a way that works for YOU. Whether you’re a solopreneur or leading a powerhouse team, you’ll learn how to navigate relationship-building through different communication styles, including neurodivergent approaches, and discover follow-up strategies that feel natural, never forced.

Through hands-on exercises, interactive discussions, and real-time practice, you’ll walk away with actionable techniques to build a community that supports your success. Plus, with industry leaders and our NAWBO Columbus sponsors in the room, this is your chance to connect in a way that actually makes an impact. No gimmicks, just results.

Takeaways:

  • Master Your Connection Style – Identify and leverage your unique approach to building relationships for maximum impact.
  • Conversation Starters That Work – Learn powerful openers to break the ice and spark meaningful discussions.
  • The Follow-Up – Get strategies for staying top-of-mind without feeling salesy or forced.

MEET OUR MODERATOR: BETHANY GEORGE, THE FOLLOW UP BOSS

Bethany has been an enterprising entrepreneur since she was a young child. From knocking on doors selling girl scout cookies to raising money for an international adventure in high school; she’s learned the power of personal connections with people from all walks of life.

Her business, The Follow Up Boss, comes from years in the sales world. Initially struggling to create results through methods that countered her values, she knew there was a way to serve and sell ethically and successfully. She now calls BS on many traditionally held sales beliefs and loves challenging norms. Her motto is Purposeful and Intentional Interactions. That is how a heart-centered people-first business finds success.

REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH.
