NAWBO members and partners join us for an opportunity to connect virtually and boost your business at monthly NAWBO Boost events.
Join NAWBO at our November Boost for this interactive session on how to turn your extensive knowledge and skills into courses and workshops that people clamor for. Get ready to grow your business all while helping more people in less time!
There are plenty of clients who want the results only you can offer, but there’s only one of you. And, like many small, service-based businesses, you may find that your time is the biggest limitation to how much your business can grow.
You need a way to serve more people without burning yourself out. That’s where courses come in. By offering courses and workshops, you can maximize your marketing impact, position yourself as the go-to expert, and even generate passive income.
BOOST KEY TAKE AWAYS:
Hilary Kirchner founded DWC in 2011 on the belief that complexity doesn’t need to be complicated and that you can help others embrace learning with a combination of curiosity, creativity, and compassion. She is the creative powerhouse and problem-solver behind every Dream Write Creative project, designing innovative educational materials for diverse learners around the world. Dozens of her creations have been translated into multiple languages.
Hilary also understands that no two learners are alike; they each bring unique life experiences, goals, preferences, and abilities to training. That’s why she’s known for creating highly flexible instructional designs that incorporate immersive multimedia and plenty of real-world scenarios and facilitation options so that every learner has multiple avenues for engagement and growth.
Prior to starting DWC, she was an academic editor, marketing communications writer, and filmmaker. This unique combination of experiences is what honed her novel approach to instructional design.
In 2023, Hilary led an interactive virtual conference session on instructional design at ACES: The Society for Editing’s VCON23 that had more than 800 attendees and a 100% satisfaction rating.
In her spare time, she is the VP of Public Policy for the Columbus chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She was also named the Ohio Women’s Small Business Accelerator’s 2023 Emerging Leader for her service to and advocacy for the small-business and MBE/WBE communities.
