Tell us about your business.

I’m the Founder of Wellness Collective where we are on a mission to impact businesses and lives through health and happiness!

What inspired you to get into your business?

I saw a need; I noticed a very early trend of employers wanting to support employees with healthier habits, yet companies don’t always have the bandwidth or expertise to support employees in this way.

What are your three best practices or best tips that every NAWBO member needs to hear?

  • Trust the universe. Trust the process. Trust yourself. Don’t ignore that itch to explore that idea you can’t stop thinking about.
  • Entrepreneurship can be a rollercoaster, but the ride ALWAYS comes back up. 😉
  • You’re likely awesome in your industry but not necessarily every job function. Hire experts for the pieces you don’t understand nor enjoy.

What does your future look like?

Fortunately, I’m still feeling very connected to my vision so no exit plan in the near future.

What do you do in your free time?

I love dancing, going out to dinner, wine on my favorite couch with a good book, movie nights with my kids and cuddles from my cats! I also enjoy anything crafty or creative!

What is your company website?

wellnesscollective.com

In the last five years, what new belief, behavior or habit has most improved your life?

I’ve spent a lot of my time working on my mindset, my self-talk and breaking through limiting beliefs that have weighed me down (in addition to generalized anxiety). I feel confident these challenges have led me to do the work that I do – because I’m relentless in figuring out how to better support myself and others.

What purchase has most positively impacted your life in the last six months (or recent memory)?

Any time I hand off a list to my virtual assistant! 😉

What is the book (or books) you’ve given most as a gift, and why? Or what are books that have greatly influenced your life?

So many! The Go Giver, The Four Agreements, The Power of Full Engagement, The Big Leap, Mindset, The Distraction Addiction. Dare to Lead
