In 2019, Ohio women business owners worked with Matriots-endorsed Senators Stephanie Kunze and Nickie Antonio to create Women Business Enterprise certification. The program is designed to assist women-owned business in obtaining government contracts. But there’s more to do to really make the program work for women entrepreneurs.
