Tell us about your business.

My name is Kacy-Ann Valembrun and I am currently a member of the Communications Committee and owner of KCV Digital Marketing Agency. I help business owners in the health and wellness industry share their stories and their knowledge online with the people who need their products and services the most.

What inspired you to get into your business?

I noticed that a lot of businesses weren’t taking advantage of all the marketing and advertising potential that social media provides. There’s almost a fear when it comes to figuring out the what, when, and how of posting content online, so I started my business to help alleviate that fear and fill that gap.

What are your three best practices or best tips that every NAWBO member needs to hear?

  1. Do what you do best and outsource the rest! You have your zone of genius, hire experts to help with everything else. It will save you a lot of time, money, and headaches in the long run.
  2. You can’t skip marketing. Your ideal clients will never know how much your products and services can help them if they don’t know your business exists.
  3. Remain coachable. There will always be someone who knows more than you. Be willing to learn from them.

What does your future look like?

Happy, healthy, prosperous, and blessed!

What do you do in your free time?

I enjoy reading, traveling to new places, finding new parks and beaches to explore, spending time with loved ones, and learning/trying new things.

What is your company website?

www.kcvmarketing.com

In the last five years, what new belief, behavior or habit has most improved your life?

Learning how to live in and appreciate each moment without judgment. If I’m stuck in traffic or in some other unpleasant situation, I just remind myself that, “This is what the living do”.

What is the book (or books) you’ve given most as a gift, and why? Or what are books that have greatly influenced your life?

Books that have greatly influenced my life are The Bible, Pivot (Adam Markel), Between the World and Me (Ta-Nehisi Coates), Start With Why (Simon Sinek), Fervent (Priscilla Shirer), and Abundance Now by Lisa Nichols.
